NEW PLAY DEVELOPMENT:

In 2021-2022, Rebecca developed and performed in three new plays produced by Royal Family Productions--including COVID SUX: THE MUSICAL (a lighthearted and irreverent jukebox musical), ANNE OF GREEN GABLES: PART II (a dance theatre adaptation of a timeless classic), and HOLY HANS! (a gender expansive and political journey through Hans Christian Anderson's most recognizable fairy tales).

Oct-Nov 2021, Rebecca worked with Margins Theatre to develop the new play LOVE LETTERS, an abstract look at U.S. race history through the lens of one couple's troubled love story, and then traveled to Mindelo, Cape Verde to perform LOVE LETTERS at the international theatre festival MINDELACT.

During the peak of the pandemic in 2020 and early 2021, Rebecca stayed active by taking classes in acting for TV+Film, doing online zoom productions of new plays, and running a virtual bookclub for a group of 10 year old boys.

June 2022 - Rebecca played a supporting role in the short film FOLLOW YOU, FOLLOW ME, which depicts an inter-abled couple navigating the beginning of their relationship.

December 2021 - Rebecca stage managed and acted as assistant dramaturg on the developmental workshop of MAMA ROSE, a rock musical written and performed by Richard E. Waits and produced by Royal Family.

In Sept 2021 Rebecca joined SAG doing two weeks of featured BG work on Law and Order: Organized Crime as an Albanian girl getting freed from a trafficking ring. Fun fact--for this role Rebecca learned to speak some basic Albanian, and to sing with an Albanian accent!
